We are exceptionally proud of this full renovation to a prominent townhouse in the heart of Chelsea. Works included new structure throughout, a new staircase and the addition of a full footprint basement.
Our clients provided a very clear brief that separate spaces must perform separate functions. As such, we provided areas for hosting and entertaining across the ground and basement floors, bedroom suites across first and second floors and a striking new study with lofted ceiling to the top floor.
By lowering the existing ground floor level and replacing what was once a front accessed garage with the new kitchen, a substantially increased area devoted to living and dining areas was created. The intricate staircase had to tightly wrap through the centre of the building given the small footprint of the property. Colour, texture, light, and detail were key to the success of this project.
