Jo Cowen Architects has managed to create value from this difficult strip site along the Lillie Road, South West London. We aim to deliver 160 new build to rent residential units, ground floor commercial and roof top amenity.
The practice has had to deal with significant issues around Rights of Light and impact on the social housing to the rear of the site, as well as local opposition to the loss of retail units. The practice has sought to develop a muted design with minimal materials palette with a regular rhythm along the street frontage.
