Ingate Place

SCOPE: 10 STOREY SCHEME WITH CIRCA 200,000SQFT SME OFFICE SPACE
LOCATION: SOUTH WEST LONDON
TYPE: COMMERCIAL OFFICES AND LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DURATION: THREE YEARS
SERVICES: FEASIBILITY TO COMPLETION
STATUS: PLANNING

This ambitious scheme is for the creation of a technological hub that serves as a platform for both local and international SME business’s with a focus on promoting collaborative workspace.

The scheme interlinks with the public realm and as the first development site identified within a wider masterplan, becomes the catalyst for the regeneration of wider area. The building offers a spectacular four storey atrium space with café and juice bar, co-working areas and opportunities for seminars and exhibition spaces.

This 10 storey scheme provides the local area with vital Light Industrial provision, whilst also providing a significant volume of much needed SME workspace for the capital. A four storey atrium at the base of the building allows direct links to the public realm, whilst affording an exciting co-working environment.

The facades are arranged to provide solidity to the east and west: concrete framed masonry with hit-and-miss brickwork allows natural light into the floorplate, whilst screening the outlook over adjacent sites. The north and south facades use an extruded aluminium frame to create a modulated façade, but also providing shading to reduce solar gain on the south.

The height of the building is responsive to other approved planning schemes adjacent to the site and also seeks to compliment the anticipated future masterplan for the area. Stepped roof levels also allow high quality amenity space for office users, with stunning views across London and beyond.
