Jo Cowen Architects were appointed to design a prestigious home on a secluded plot in the heart of Barnes, South West London.

The house benefits from striking six meter tall Vitroxa doors across an expansive rear elevation of eleven meters width. The large format of the windows adds a truly unique and contemporary feel to this project.

Double height spaces were introduced early in the project’s conception, between the kitchen and the main dining space. This generous feature defines the circulation throughout the house and helps to define more private secondary spaces such as the living rooms and snug which surround it.

The kitchen is a large entertaining space with a double width kitchen island and minimalist finishes including composite stone and veneer. The bathrooms are finished with veneer and patterned tiles in monochromatic colours which adds to the bold statement to this unique property.

Jo Cowen Architects were appointed to design and deliver this quirky and prestigious family house in Barnes in South West London.
