Pippa Farmer

Architectural Assistant

Pippa completed her BArch (Hons) Architecture degree with a Diploma in Professional Studies at Loughborough University and has recently joined Jo Cowen Architects as our first Level 7 Architecture Apprentice, whilst carrying out her academic studies with the University of Bath.

Passionate about sustainable architecture and resilient design, Pippa ensures that sustainability is at the forefront of her work, illustrated by her nomination for the AJ Sustainability student prize in her second year, her dissertation on the embodied carbon of flood resilient design, through volunteering for LETI (London Energy Transformation Imitative) for almost two years and successfully passing the One Click LCA summer school 2021 exam which covered the key concepts of lifecycle analysis.

Outside the office, Pippa enjoys cycling and managed to raise over £900 for CAUKIN Studio who are partners with The Tanbok Project, a charity working to support the Island of Pentecost following the devastation caused by Cyclone Harold in 2020.
