Associate Director

Carlo is an experienced all-round design-oriented architect who has worked on the design of over 50 diverse projects across 7 countries, which have won over 15 awards for excellence. He has more than 20 years of professional experience, 12 of which have been in the UK in all important aspects of the architectural design industry.

Carlo is an inspired, creative and knowledgeable architect driven by a passion to innovate and pursue excellence in all aspects of design.  He is well versed in industry best practices and has vast experience in high quality modular and luxury projects from concept through to project execution. He has a strong sense of social responsibility, a natural entrepreneurial spirit, a proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach to challenges, and a natural ability to mentor younger designers in the team.

Having worked as an Associate Director since 2019, notable projects from Carlo’s career to date include the design and detailed development of complex multi-unit modular residential projects and the coordinated delivery of A-Studio’s award-winning fit-out of The University of Chicago Booth’s new campus in London.

Carlo spent nearly 10 years as a Director of WAY Architecture Yell, a boutique design architectural practice based in central London and Brazil that he co-founded with Priscilla Pinotti. Carlo brings experience from Foster + Partners London, were he led the team responsible for the development of the external cladding and interior design packages of the Shangri-La Hotel project in the 100 East 53rd Street skyscraper in Manhattan and Canary Wharf, Crossrail Place in London.

His many years of global professional experience designing across 7 different countries, gives him the knowledge and structure required to confidently manage and oversee multiple complex high value projects.
