Managing Director Chris Wilkinson brings a passion for architectural detailing and design as well as a keen interest in cutting-edge technologies to this growing practice. Chris worked with Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners for over seven years where he honed his architectural knowledge on large scale international projects such as The British Museum World Conservations and Exhibitions Centre, and the Macallan Distillery, Scotland.
Prior to Rogers, Chris was at Ellis Williams Architects contributing to everything from feasibility and conceptual studies to on-site design development. He has also worked independently with a number of private residential clients to deliver their briefs and aspirations for their homes.
Chris is known as a problem solver: whether working on new or existing buildings he is always searching for new ideas and technologies, whilst ensuring that the main design concept is upheld. He also has a keen interest in architectural photography, which informs his detailing in practice.
A firm believer in architecture for all, Chris served as a mentor for the Architecture in Schools programme developed by the charity Open City, sharing his experience and expertise in the field of architecture with secondary school students.
Originally from the north east of England, Chris graduated from The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.
