George graduated with his Part I from the University of Nottingham where he was introduced to range architectural typologies through varied studio modules.
During this time, he developed an interest in prefab housing design and community led architectural projects. This culminated in a thesis that examined how mixed community craft could be celebrated, whilst responding to a historically rich context.
Before Joining Jo Cowen, George gained an internship at AB Rogers Design where he had the opportunity to work on the Maggie’s Centre at the Royal Marsden Hospital. At the practice he also experienced working on a number of commercial interior designs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
