George began his career at Heatherwick Studio where he worked on a variety of highly creative projects including the Pacific Place Mall redevelopment in Hong Kong and the Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Laverstoke. This led George to join the London 2012 Opening Ceremony design team as a 3d designer working directly alongside the renowned film director Danny Boyle. He helped to develop the story and set design that was eventually revealed on the opening night of the London Olympics.
Prior to joining JCA George worked at Make Architects for over 8 years where he gained significant experience in large scale commercial and residential sectors, working on several high-profile jobs such as 5 Broadgate and 48 Leicester Square. He also led the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery project, was part of the delivery team for The Hiscox Building in York and ran the facade package for AGORA, a 400,000sqft office development in Budapest.
George completed his Part I studies at Oxford Brookes University and his part II at the University of Westminster where he received a special commendation for the Technical Studies module. He also completed his part III at the University of Westminster, passing with Distinction.
