Marta joined Jo Cowen Architects in 2018 and has gained valuable experience working at a range of scales from domestic to large mix-use schemes.
Due to her experience in public realm she has been an integral member of City Wharf Project.
Prior to joining Jo Cowen, she worked at Barcelona School of Architecture where she designed and curated architectural installations internationally. Before this, Marta gained experience in BIM technologies working on residential schemes at Noel Robinson Architects, Australia.
Marta studied architecture and urbanism at Barcelona School of Architecture. She was granted a six months academic scholarship to start her Master´s Thesis Research at Tongji University, Shanghai (China). In addition, she spent one year at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane (Australia).
She was also awarded the IS Arch Awards ‘Special Mention’ for her work in urban design.
She speaks fluent Catalan, Spanish and basic Mandarin.
